  • Career Development in Practice Workshops for Victorian Government Schools 2026

  • The Career Development in Practice (CDIP) workshop is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to develop and deliver effective career services within a variety of educational settings.The Victorian Department of Education are funding a series of 2-day CDIP workshops aimed at supporting:

    • new or recently recruited career practitioners in government schools who have limited experience in delivering career education (2 years or less experience as a career practitioner). Includes staff who have not completed a formal career education qualification.
    • government school staff moving into a career practitioner role in the future· 
    • other government school staff who are directly supporting the delivery of career education activities to students (for example, Multicultural Education Aides).
    • All sessions have a maximum of 40 participants and places will be allocated in order of registrations received. The Australian Centre for Career Education will be in contact to confirm registration and provide venue information.
